He passed away August 28, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. in the Carillon VistaCare unit in Lubbock.
He was born in Mount Calm, TX to C.G. and Martha Grizzle on February 25, 1927.

He was buried, with military honors and with a police honor guard, in the City of Smyer Cemetery under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home.
He went to live with his Savior on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.

He was born July 15, 1947 to A.C. and Mary Jane Bramlett Rushing in Commerce, Texas.
He graduated from Levelland High School in 1966. He had recently moved back to Levelland from the Austin area, after having retired from the State of Texas.
