Looking for something sweet to do tonight for Halloween? There's plenty going on in Levelland.

Trunk or Treat on Main Street starts at 6 p.m. tonight at the Levelland Civic Center, located at 1900 McKinley inside the Levelland City Park. Organizations, businesses, non-profits and individuals will be set up handing out candy to kids and dressed up critters.

Austin Street Church of Christ and South Plains Church will have their own events going on. Austin Street Church of Christ will host a trunk or treat and South Plains Church is hosting "Hallelujah Night" and will have games, fun and candy. Austin Street Church of Christ is located at 510 Austin Street and South Plains Church is located at 1421 Cactus Drive.

St. Michael's Catholic Church is hosting a haunted house tonight from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the school building, located at 319 E. Washington. The cost is $3 to get in.

Smith South Plains will host a trick or treat event at their location at 2483 Highway 114. Each department will host its own trick or treating and give out candy and treats to kids and parents. The event will begin at 4 p.m.

The Levelland Fire Department and Communications Center will host trick or treaters, starting at 5 p.m. Firefighters and dispatchers will be there to greet children and hand out candy and other goodies.

From all of us here at the News-Press, we are hoping everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!
